RAWALPINDI, Aug 8 (APP): Two seriously injured of those got wounded following blast in Quetta Hospital on Monday were being shifted to Karachi for better medical care in military air ambulance.
According to ISPR, the health authorities have also been
considering to shift, in addition to these two patients, other 20 seriously injured persons to other hospitals of the country for specialized medical care.
All these injured would be evacuated to country’s other
hospitals in military air ambulances, being provided by Pakistan Air Force under the direction of the Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman.
According to PAF, a C-130 Hercules aircraft has been converted to serve as air ambulance and made available to the authorities concerned for transportation of injured to other parts of the country.
